Welcome to our School

I extend a warm welcome to our school where children have fun and love to learn. Pangbourne  Primary is a community school for children from ages 3 to 11 and we are situated in a stunning rural location.

We pride ourselves in providing a happy, safe, secure and supportive learning environment where we pride ourselves on good behaviour, enabling your child to achieve academic and personal excellence.

We believe that, in  partnership with the home and the local community, we can provide an education that will give your child the best possible start in life.

Dear Parents and Carers

The Senior Leadership Team and Miss Hicks (Sports Day Coordinator) have met this morning because the weather forecast has changed overnight to the chance of rain all day tomorrow.

After doing a risk assessment, we have sadly decided that we are going to have to postpone ‘Sports Day’ to Monday 22nd July.  We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.  Timings for the day will remain the same, please arrive after 12.45pm to start at 1pm.  All children can come to school wearing either their normal PE shirt or a plain t-shirt in their house colour (for KS2).  NB this is entirely optional – please do not go out and buy t-shirts especially for this event.  (Children have asked for the colour and t-shirt option.)  The weather forecast on this day is going to be sunny/cloudy and warm, so please ensure all children have sun cream applied before school, sun hats and water bottles.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Kind regards,

Melissa Fry
